The latest release introduces JAIS Chat, a mobile application designed to enhance communication across diverse Arabic dialects.

JAIS Chat transcends typical AI models by serving as a linguistic companion, facilitating natural interactions from Cairo to Riyadh. Its development reflects a deep respect for Arabic culture and linguistic nuances.

Powered by Inception AI, the application offers an improved communication experience through its integration with the JAIS Chat service API and an intuitive user interface. The app features a welcoming introductory screen and a main chat interface supporting both English and Arabic languages. Users can manage their profiles easily, accessing chat history and settings via a side fly-in menu.

The application supports theme customization with dark and light mode options to ensure optimal visibility in various environments. Robust monitoring mechanisms are in place to guarantee data security and performance stability.

A tablet version of JAIS Chat has been developed, encompassing all functionalities available on the web and mobile platforms.

New capabilities include harmful and unlawful content detection:

• Prompt monitoring: Error alerts are triggered when harmful or unlawful language is detected in user prompts.
• File uploads: Files containing prohibited content are promptly flagged with error messages.

Additionally, the Speech-to-Text feature allows seamless conversion of spoken language into written text, supporting both Arabic and English with high accuracy.

Changes and enhancements in this release include:

1. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Beyond web search, the system now supports data extraction from file formats such as .docx, .doc, .txt, .pdf, and .csv, enabling retrieval of current information and summarization capabilities from uploaded documents.
2. Error handling: Improvements have been made to expand and refine error management across features including query processing, RAG integration, and file uploads.
